Responsive websites are websites that have the same website text content but have different layouts depending on what device you are using to view the website.
A responsive website when viewed on a Computer screen will stretch across the large screen and be able to display large images. When this same website is viewed on a tablet (i-pad) then the screen is smaller so the layout changes to have smaller images and sometimes certain parts of the content are in a different position on the page.
Viewing on a mobile smart phone (i-phone) will change the design again, with less images present and the layout changed to a narrower format so as to eliminate sideways scrolling.
This website has been designed to be responsive and you will be able to see the differences in the layouts when you view it using the three different devices.
As there are a large number of different size devices available sometimes the layout is a compromise, but in the majority of cases it will work really effectively.
Responsive websites are easier to implement on a new website design, but we are happy to look at incorporating it into an existing website design as well.
